The Gospel, the Kingdom and the Cross Part 6

What is the Gospel and how should it be understood? This part of the series is looking at the Gospel through the understanding of sonship (both of Christ and of all that would accept him) and the backdrop of an existing ruling kingdom to whom the people were in bondage. The lord was able to be empowered to the role of being a king through the submission that he made as a son as a contrast the temptation of Adam when Satan presented an opportunity to do away with dependency on God. Yet we have the declaration that said "but to as many that received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God.
