Focus on the enternal

There is a tendency for many individuials to take on board concerns that whilst they are legitimate, crosses a line where anxiousness becomes crippling and anxiety is the norm. Distress about future uncertainty caused by real or imagined issues makes people vulnerable and inadequate with a hightened sense of thier vulnerabilities. For the children of God being anxiousness can be the path that leads them to the path of doubting God. The invitation through the word of God is to throw your all cares on Jesus for he continues to care for you in the present whilst preparing you for the future. This message is based on 1 Peter 5: 7- 11 where we are also told that God has called us to eternal glory but the path to perfection is through the avenue of suffering. So whilst we are prone to be anxious in the present, nevertheless our focus must be eternal.
