Mankinds defilement and his purification through the Word Part 2

This is the second part of a two part series based on the observations made by the Scribes and Pharisees in Mark 7::1-23 and the accusations that followed. The preacher addresses the different prospectives of those that held on to the traditions of men and laying aside the commandments of God. In this series of messages we are reminded that men are deceitful and desperately wicked and that God saw the wickedness of men that it was great in the Earth. Such was his state, men needed to be rescued, not just from sin and the consequences but from himself. The power of the word to bring the purification is then expounded in contrast to the the defilement of mans heart that we may be close to him not just with our lips but with our hearts.
