Hope in the natural sense is a referral to a favourable future in comparison to the present. It does not require rationality and can be described as illusory with writers sometimes using description such as faint, or feeble or desperate in relation to hope. However, in this message a vision of the prophet Ezekiel is used to illustrate how God has demonstrated his intervention to bring hope when, in the eyes of the prophet and a people, hope is absent. Ezekiel 37:11-14 and 23-26.
