Discussion:Why would a loving God send people to hell?

Many people ask the question: Why would a loving God send people to hell? This appears to be predicated on the thought that if God is a loving God then surely he will not send anyone to hell? However, we accept that we have a free will. Therefore any relationship we have with God or anyone will be based on that free will which will not be overidden by God because he desires to have a relation with mankind on their own volition. These are the words spoken by the Pastor following a discussion during lock down with the ministry.
