What is meant by not tasting death until they have seen the kingdom come with Power? Mark 9:1; Luke 9:27; Matt 16:28. There is a thought that said that this was a reference to the mount of transfiguration. There was a contribution that made reference to the time of Jesus returning and reference to individuals such as Enoch or Elijah that did not die. However, the reference of the scripture indicate the clear statement of some standing here and as such could not have been about those individuals. Other contribution was about the receipt of the Holy Spririt and the power that comes with him. In summary the final contribution acknowledges, those contributions but stated that the all of those events, in and of themselves was not what he was referring to but it included all of them but the full and significant declaration was the resurrection. Hence the man of God stated if Christ be not raised from the dead then is our preaching vain.
