Barrier to the Kingdom

Pastor Michael (POAWM UK)
14 June 2020 16:56

This is a message that reflects on the excerise of freewill and the decison we make which ultimately determines our eternal futures. It starts out by referencing Luke Chapter 9 verses 57 to 61 and also reflecting on Pharaohs decison to harden his own heart whilst explaining the language of the scripture saying that God hardens his heart. The message by virtue of the start of the ministries of John the baptist and Jesus (Matthew 3:2 and Matthew 4:17) revealed that unless we repent (which is an exercise of the mind) we cannot have the kingdom which is the fathers good pleasure to give. The message revealed that teaching Gods word gave revelations, beliefs does not guarantee convictions, instructions does not bring conversions and that conversions only comes with convictions. Ultimately revealing that the mind is a barrier for many to receive the kingdom.
