Distorted by Pain and the invisibility of a legacy

We invariably give expressions to our pains and sometimes reveal a root of bitterness that lingers despite our long association with Church and the things of God. The sources of those pains causes us to resent so many things and people that it becomes difficult to move on to a place where God wants us to be. Bitterness leads to discouragement and to paranoia and we do not see the true realities. The perception is now distorted by the pain.
