The Depravity of man and the Wrath of God

The gospel is good news but its full recognition can only be understood through the lens of mans own depravity. Man is in need of salvation not just from sin and its consequences but also from ourselves. That is because from with man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders and seeking to fulfill the lust of the flesh and of the mind. Yet the God of love is also a God of justice and we need to be saved.
