Open our eyes that we may see

Common sense says that if you are surrounded by overwhelming hostile forces the default thing to do is go into survival mode in order to survive. Simply put, it requires you to surrender to prevent your demise. Whilst this may appeal as a common strategy, this message based on 2 Kings 13-17 tells us of the danger of looking only at the temporal and not at the eternal. There is a warning not to be enticed by the enemy and to look at how he seeks to intimidate us but to look to God and to remember that we are surrounded by his Angels and that there are more with us than are with them.
